Appearance-wise, Daimonas possesses noticeably softer facial features than his older brother, bearing an unmistakable resemblance to the late queen despite never truly being her. His features have grown harsher over the centuries, however, with permanent frown lines and an expression that rarely appears anything other than displeased. Despite this, his face often gives others the wrong impression. His androgynous appearance leads most people to assume he's quiet or approachable, only for that assumption to disappear the moment they meet his gaze.
He's barely taller than Leviathan and noticeably shorter than Diavolo, so it's not hard to understand who's the younger of the pair. However he wears elevator shoes/boots which make him appear taller in public.
Though he and Diavolo share enough similarities to be recognised as brothers, the resemblance is far less obvious from certain angles. Much like Beelzebub and Belphegor, the similarities become more obvious when they're standing side-by-side, rather than comparing them separately.
Due to his indifference about his fashion, most of Daimonas' clothing was bought by Diavolo, hence why most of his clothing is rather "soft" and "cute." This is also one of the main factors others mistake him as the shy or kind type of person.
He owns few shirts of his own, mostly from bands that he enjoys and is concert-exclusive, otherwise it's all Diavolo. The only times he dresses formally is during balls or parties he's obligated to attend, but he has no problem wearing them if he was given them for his daily wear.
Due to spending centuries confined to a cot with his limbs restrained, Daimonas' legs developed improperly during childhood. While extensive rehabilitation eventually allowed him to walk unaided, periods of weakness still remain. On particularly difficult days, he wears supportive leg braces beneath his clothing rather than openly acknowledging the lingering effects of his confinement.
Unlike most demons, Daimonas has an unnaturally cold body temperature accompanied by a pulse so faint that it is often mistaken for being absent altogether. His breathing is similarly subtle, to the point that those unfamiliar with him occasionally question whether he is breathing at all. Combined with his resemblance to the late queen, these traits have only fuelled centuries of rumours that he is less a living demon and more a corpse given form.
Rarely does he ever wear them, but he owns reading glasses. He's near-sighted and often wears contacts instead. The glasses are only ever worn in private. His hair is long, and is often worn in a long braid, only ever worn loose when he's alone in his room.

Everyone knows that the Demon Queen (ie. Diavolo's mother) died when giving birth to Diavolo, and it's heavily implied just how much the Demon King loved his wife. So Daimonas' story begins here.
Out of his own grief and selfishness, the Demon King broke one of his own laws, taking the ashes of the Demon Queen in order to resurrect her. However, he failed. And instead of bringing her back, a new life was created. That new life was Daimonas. Due to his grief and rage, he locked the child away in a room so he wouldn't have to bare with the pain of his own failure, instead projecting onto Daimonas, despite him essentially being a newborn. He's therefore one of the few demons who were created rather than born like others.
A long story short is that Daimonas was locked away in a dark unkempt room with a cot that he was chained to in order to prevent escape. He was also fed irregularly to prevent his sense of time from building in the four walls without windows, so wounds and blisters formed beneath the chains. To pass time, Daimonas would often sleep his days away.
It was one day that Diavolo's boredom from being isolated finally got to him, and he went exploring around the castles, eventually finding the locked room Daimonas was kept in. That is, it was meant to be locked. The Demon King rarely came to see the *thing* he created, so he would make other servants do it instead. No one really cared for Daimonas, he was lucky if he had someone wipe his face with a cloth or brush his hair.
It's implied that Daimonas is trans, because even though he presents as male and everyone sees him as such, he's a "resurrected" version of the Queen who was female, therefore he also would've been female. Either way, he appears androgynous, and at Diavolo's age, he had mistaken Daimonas for a princess in his childish mind, later realising he was a boy.
Alongside his circumstances of creation, Daimonas has a constant cold body temperature and faint pulse that can be hard to detect, so poor Diavolo thought he was dead. Moments later, the Demon King caught him, paranoid that he would be found out and enraged that Diavolo disobeyed his orders to not explore this part of the castle.
Rather than deal with multiple questions, he lied, saying that Daimonas was a frail and ill child he had taken under his wing. After all, Diavolo had no idea what his mother looked like, so he couldn't confirm whether that was the truth or not. Furthermore, he gifted Daimonas to Diavolo as a gift. Why deal with two problems separately when he can just have Diavolo deal with it?
Daimonas took a long time to adjust to natural lighting to the point the curtains in his 'room' were kept shut constantly, and he had poor eyesight from having become accustomed to the little to no light that would filter in his previous 'room.' Diavolo carried the sleeping boy, and this was where he woke up. From having never spoken, or if so barely, Daimonas' vocal chords were also out of shape and his throat itchy. He slept on and off for at least two weeks. And despite all the pain, the one thing that seemed to comfort him was how soft and warm Diavolo's voice was. This was much prior to Barbatos coming into the picture, therefore one could only imagine how poorly the food he gave Daimonas tasted...
When Daimonas began to explore and was able to move, he would more often than not join Diavolo for lessons, or watch from the sides and cheer his big brother on. Truly, they got along well. Few yet many adored the young prince, including Diavolo. The court learned the truth quickly. After all, the King had always been easy to read. And from there, it was divided into three.
Unfortunately, the damage in Daimonas' legs was permanent, so he's had to wear leg braces ever since. Though he's long since become accustomed to walking and wearing them since those centuries (if not millenia) ago, he couldn't walk too far or for too long, as his legs were quick to ache. He would also have a hard time standing up straight, and would always tremble or step as if he were about to fall. Jumping or anything that required solely one foot was out of the question.
It took centuries more before Daimon would resent the court for this and many more reasons, for the child’s world revolved entirely around Diavolo himself. Over those centuries, the Prince learned there was little point in correcting others. Those who worshipped him insisted he simply could not remember who he once was. Those who hated him dismissed every word as further proof he was an imitation. Even those who feared him believed his denials were little more than the lies of a restless spirit. Regardless of what Daimonas himself said, others had already decided who he was before he ever spoke.
Even when they were younger, Daimonas couldn't go long without hearing about Diavolo's dream to unite the three realms. So when Lucifer first descended from the Celestial Realm to meet Diavolo, Daimonas tried his hardest to be on his best behaviour. Daimonas always thought the dream was... ridiculous, it didn't make any sense why anyone would want to go out of their way to cause more trouble for themselves. Though Diavolo troubled himself by taking care of him, so he wanted to give it a chance.
Daimonas was understandably prejudice about Lucifer due to the Devildom teachings of Angels, especially with both having isolated childhoods, however, he was more shy than anything else. Diavolo asked him to make friends with Lucifer, and so Daimonas attempted to do so, but was met with contempt. His disdain began to grow from there. Each time Lucifer would visit, Daimonas would make it his goal to ensure he would never return or that Diavolo too would no longer wish to see him. It might have partially been jealousy that Diavolo actually enjoyed spending his time with Lucifer while he was brushed aside or told to go play elsewhere while they had 'adult' discussions.
Daimonas complicated feelings for Diavolo began to grow from these days forward, as each time Diavolo would brush him off, apologise to Lucifer, or treat him as though his feelings were common and childish, he would grow upset. It felt as though the angel was corrupting his big brother (how ironic for an angel to corrupt a demon.) But above all, the fear that he would be replaced and thrown back in the cold, dark, unkempt room.
When the seven brothers fell after the Great Celestial War, Daimonas resented his father then too. To have angels be given Demonic Titles, how foolish indeed. Perhaps this is why Diavolo was the heir and not him, for only a fool in disguise could do such a job at ruling over the Devildom. His resentment for Lucifer grew immensely, especially when he replaced Mephistopheles as Diavolo’s right-hand man. With barely an effort at all, Lucifer became someone Diavolo spoke to in ways he never spoke to Daimonas. Even though they weren’t friends by any means, and in fact Mephistopheles was quite a suck-up, their family had been serving the crown since before his own existence, so there was a sort of respect or at the very least, acknowledgement. Lucifer’s very existence, however, seemed to irk some part of him, and now he’d have to spend all his time around the angel if he wished to be near Diavolo.
While he did used to enjoy Mephistopheles company, it eventually became annoying to hear Mephistopheles' particular tone when he would agree or offer to do things with either Daimonas or Diavolo, finding the idea of conformity presumptuous. Yet, he understood that unlike others, Mephistopheles wasn't a suck up and that his feelings were genuine, so there was a mild sense of leniency there.
For a long time, the brothers (besides Lucifer) would often talk about Daimonas as though he were the castle ghost (as he would begin to avoid others at this point in time.) Due to how confusing the timeline is, he's around the age of a young teenager here. That is, around the time Nightbringer is set.
By the time the Demon King fell to slumber, the relationship between the brothers was strained. Daimonas refused to spend time with Diavolo, and it would only happen if absolutely forced. There were few individuals the Prince thought highly of anymore. Between everything that happened previously and the current time, Diavolo had somehow met and forced Barbatos to serve him. The butler was not free from Daimonas’ emotions, though he refused to acknowledge him unless it was to tell him to leave him alone. There was some hope for a short while; now that Diavolo had no one above him to obey, perhaps he'll finally act freely and choose him. Instead, Diavolo fell deeper into the hands of Lucifer and Barbatos. It became the last straw.
Beteen this time, and the finalization of the Exchange Program, Daimonas struggled to find himself. While he had a handful of personal interests, he was essentially stuck in a rut.
Daimonas doesn't like the idea of a butler, because he thinks it implies he can't take care of himself or that he's like Diavolo. And at this point in time, both are an insult to his ego, so he has the mindset that Barbatos is Diavolo's butler, rather than the royal family's.
He doesn't express to anyone though, but I would imply Barbatos is aware of his reasons. It doesn't stop him from teasing Daimonas, or going out of his way to do things anyways.
Upon hearing the exchange student would include humans, Daimonas’ reaction was dismissive, as if one were inviting ants to a lecture. And yet when it was mentioned angels would be a part of the exchange program, his hand curled into a fist, as it came close to immediately punching Diavolo’s jaw. He called Diavolo insane more for that than the exchange program itself.
While he doesn't like humans in the slightest, he also has nothing personal against them, they're just innately irrelevant.
He struggles with the concept of angels, and it's heavily shown when Belphegor goes against the exchange program entirely. Now, despite how foul-mouthed Daimonas can be, or how much he insults Diavolo and his ideals, he supports him from behind the scenes. His disdain for the brothers was already high at this point, but he never went out of his way to make a problem out of nothing, so he mostly left them alone.
When Belphegor yelled that he would kill all humans, or when Daimonas heard word of it, it was himself who held him back from doing anything. He hated how much the brothers got away with solely because of Diavolo's relationship with Lucifer, and how light he treated most things.
And yet, it was Daimonas who prevented Diavolo from striking Belphegor. Not out of pity, nor sorrow, but because it could damage his reputation in the eyes of the public or to other nobles. Hence, he was told that Belphegor would be sent to the human realm.
Daimonas can disrupt the electrical signals in another demon’s nervous system using a focused pulse of demonic energy. While he cannot control their thoughts, he can override their motor functions. He usually directs the pulse with a pointed finger or hand gesture, almost like operating a remote control. Prolonged use causes severe migraines, nosebleeds, and exhaustion. This ability only works on demons due to their shared biology.
Daimonas can temporarily alter the state of matter through intense concentration and physical contact. The effect lasts anywhere from a few minutes to an hour and leaves him severely exhausted. It is his most dangerous and least controlled ability, and he is afraid of what could happen if he ever attempted to use it on something living.
Like Diavolo, Daimonas possesses a limited healing ability. He can heal minor injuries such as cuts and bruises, though the wounds still leave scars. This ability only works on himself.
Daimonas possesses the rare ability to sever the pact between a human and a demon, including his own pacts. He refuses to speak about the pact he once broke. Using this ability causes severe physical damage to Daimonas, as well as to both individuals involved in the pact, so he avoids using it whenever possible.
By manipulating the molecules of a non-living object, Daimonas can create one or more exact physical copies. The duplicates look and feel identical to the original, but lack its smell, taste, magical properties, and internal complexity. For example, a duplicated book would have blank pages, while a duplicated potion would simply be coloured water.
Daimonas can erase or implant memories in others. In order to implant a memory, it must be connected to an already existing memory, as he cannot outright create something that has never happened.
By activating this ability, any magic is unable to work within a 1km distance surrounding Daimonas. The only few exceptions are his own abilities and anyone with stronger mana.

He'll gamble with his own life before letting someone else shoulder the burden, then expect everyone around him not to worry. Don't misunderstand, keeping that worthless excuse of a butler around just shows how incompetent he is. It'd be way less work if he let me help him instead."

" I don't trust him a damn bit. He can fool everyone else, but I know he's hiding something from all of us, that butler is the most suspicious demon in this castle. When he insisted on making him stay, I couldn't get it at all. 'Sides, he's always watching me, it's creepy as hell. He can tell what I'm hungry for just by the way I enter a room, but that bastard brother of mine always calls me out if I lie to 'im. "

I still remember when he was around the castle everyday, he was always in my face if he wasn't bothering that sorry excuse of a brother I have. Him and the butler get on my damn nerves, but at least he's honest about why he does things. Better than the rest of these stuck-up, pompous assholes in this court. I prefer him over Lucifer, but I guess that doesn't mean anything since a puddle of piss is better than him. Just wish he'd call me by my name already..."

He doesn't like that bastard brother of his, so I guess that's something. My condolences that he's related to any of them. ">

Daimonas' first appearance is during late Lesson 5 after MC finishes attending their RAD classes and attempts to relocate the Student Council Room, where Mammon said earlier in the day, that he and the brothers were forced to attend a meeting despite his plans to "spend up large." Due to still being new to the Academy, MC becomes lost through the halls and is unable to find where they need to go.
Someone behind them taps them on the shoulder, frightening MC momentarily before the individual apologises. MC notices they aren't wearing the RAD Uniform despite likely being a student, but brushes off the thought upon being asked if they're lost. They confirm, and the stranger laughs softly, offering to take them where they need to be. They have a short conversation on the way there, with the stranger asking if they're the other human exchange student, and otherwise having a pleasant conversation with MC. Before long, they've stopped outside the Student Council Room, with MC thanking them and the stranger telling them to take care, keep safe, and that all that glitters, is not gold.
When MC attempts to ask what they mean by that, the door to the Student Council Room suddenly swings open and the brothers begin pouring out the building one after another, their voices mixing between each other. Mammon asks MC how long they've been waiting and should've just come inside, with Leviathan stating that Mammon only said that because he saved an empty seat next to him for MC, and Mammon telling him to shut up. MC is given the option to say they only just arrived because they got lost, or saying they made a friend and wanted to take their time - either way, when MC turns back to the stranger, they've already left and MC feels slightly disappointed they never learned the strangers name.
For context, the stranger is Daimonas who is only referred to as such due to this being written from MC's perspective of how the game would show this occuring.
For further context, Daimonas wanted to gather information on MC due to being the Human Exchange Student and one of the few people who wouldn't know who he is. He acts soft and kind in this instance because no one can call him out, and leaves while MC is distracted to avoid the brothers, Diavolo, or Barbatos from seeing him.
Daimonas' second appearance is during Lesson 8 when MC, Mammon, Leviathan, and Beelzebub attempt 'Operation Photograph Lucifer Sleeping.' He refused to participate in the retreat, and thus stayed locked up in his room the previous two days, only coming out to get food when he was sure he wouldn't be caught. Diavolo earlier mentioned in Lesson 7 that Daimonas would not be apart of the retreat, but that MC might see him around if they were lucky. MC was able to briefly ask the three brothers earlier about The Second Prince, with them all having varying responses. However, the one thing they agreed on is that MC shouldn't waste their time thinking about him, and should turn the other way if he approaches.
While sneaking around the halls, a muffled voice calls out to them from the end of a corridor, yelling / asking them what they're doing. While MC finds the voice familiar, they aren't given the chance to properly process it. The person who calls out to them asks what they're doing, considering they're trying to lock pick doors and are generally just being stupid. Mammon tells the stranger that they're guests of the Demon King's Castle, and to shut up before they get caught. The stranger is offended, and begins to approach them, but upon all five individuals hearing Barbatos' footsteps, the stranger clicks their tongue and leaves. The group bolt in the other direction, thus leading to them opening the door where Cerberus hides behind.
The group were unable to see Daimonas' face in the dark, thus leading MC unable to recognise him. And while the brothers knew who he were, didn't particularly care to mention it.
Daimonas' third appearance is during Lesson 18 - ie. Diavolo's birthday party. Not long after MC and the brother's arrive, they're snapped out of their thoughts about Belphegor when loud yelling fills the room. MC finds it familiar, the same voice from Lesson 8, and upon moving closer to the source, see a familiar type of hair style (as their back is facing MC.) MC is unable to hear exactly what the person is yelling about, but gets bits and pieces of 'party', 'audacity', and 'treason.' Diavolo attempts to ease the individual, calling them Daimonas, to which the latter swings their face away from Diavolo, and this is when MC realises it's the same individual from Lesson 3 that helped them.
Of course, his current tone of voice and expression don't match his appearance at all, nor how he acted when helping MC. When he notices MC staring at him, his face scowls and he clicks his tongue as though he were caught. Diavolo greets MC who suddenly blurts out "It's you!", and Diavolo asks if the pair know each other. Daimonas refuses to admit it, while MC is the one to explain exactly what happened. Diavolo quickly catches onto what Daimonas was doing, and apologises to MC if he happened to do anything that upset them, and to forgive him. The end of the request seems to irritate Daimonas, causing him to become offended and rant again at Diavolo. Somewhere in the conversation, Diavolo mentions / introduces Daimonas as his younger brother.
This is when MC notices Belphegor is missing and goes looking for him. It's only during Lesson 19 that MC once again asks some of the brothers about Daimonas, and they all seem to have neutral or negative opinions of him. It is however worthwhile of them to mention that he especially dislikes Lucifer and Belphegor, alongside Barbatos and Diavolo, much to MC's surprise and confusion.
